a/kit to belong
Connection in a box
Our kit isn’t here to fix loneliness or rush you through anything.
It’s here to give you options to reflect, create and play and hopefully feel a little more connected. You can choose from activities that are solo or that you do as a/part of a crowd.

About the kit to belong
Loneliness can show up in many moments, even when things are “meant” to be exciting. A lot of people feel like this, but it’s not talked about much. We’ve created this kit to start the conversation.
Everything in this kit has been designed with young adults for young adults. All of the stories and artworks within the kit (on stickers, cards, and activities) have been shared by people like you.
We have made a menu of activities for you to choose from. You might like to mix up activities from things to Do, Make, Play or Read.
Things to DO
Ground and reflect through doing.
Nature cards: Cards with grounding prompts allow you to slow down and reconnect with the natural world around you.
Piece by piece: Spend time with someone else’s experience. This puzzle is made from an original artwork submitted by a young person navigating loneliness.
Things to MAKE
Making something means something.
Your mini zine: (Short for magazine) invites you to express your thoughts, drawings, feelings, or reminders.
Press play: Guides you through building a playlist with intention. Find the songs that help you get toward connection.
Things to PLAY
Good things happen when you play.
Connection challenges: Each card has little challenges to help you connect with yourself, someone nearby, or with the world around you.
The flip side: A playful way to have a real conversation. Each card features artwork made by a young adult on the front and a unique conversation prompt on the back.
Things to READ
Read your way to connection:
a/collection from the book for belonging: Stories and poems written by young adults about navigating loneliness.
Postcards through time: A chance to connect with art made by another young adult. There are two sets of postcards, each featuring artwork by a young adult on the front.
