Your experience since childhood and current environment that made you feel excluded doesn’t define what you are capable of.

I was very lucky to have received an offer for work after uni, but it was a really stressful transition.

I only had a buffer period of around a month from graduation, to starting my first proper full-time job. For the first amount of time, I was struggling to realise that I didn’t have any assignments due, and found myself with a but more freedom! But as time went by, my job became busier as I settled in.

Now, finding free time when I’m not tired is tough, so I spend my weekends doing things I enjoy! Like hanging out with my uni or school buddies or going out to gigs. "

There is something written in Dari the language of Afghanistan it means “how many times have we been born, that we are dying this much?” The picture depicts the amount of things that I have everywhere and in any part of me. The journey is different from me – Like how can I just fit in? How can I cope with what I am going through. There’s a lot that is going on.

Everyone tells you these are the best years of your life. I’m still wondering how that is possible. We go from small communities to large dreams where no one knows our name. We are told have fun whilst still making a name for ourselves. We search for our people whilst others playfully walk the streets laughing with our friends. It’s easy to be imaginary in a world where no one asks your name. These are the years that you can hide as you get lost in the in between no one looking for you.
